Amazing product! Smells so good and makes my hair slip!
The whole low porosity set is a huge hit for me. I love everything and every step in my wash day routine. The slip is amazing and the products melt into my hair like butter, and the fragrance is lovely. Finally I have found a hair are routine that is simple, and functional to my specific hair needs. Also, I love the pump containers. It cuts down on over use like the regular shampoo and conditioner bottles. I will DEFINITELY come back when im low. Thanks guys for your hard work and honesty with this beautiful product.
I love the ENTIRE Low Porosity line, but my favorite is the Leave-In Conditioner🥰 My hair stays nice & moisturized all day long! Aside from wash days, I'm using it every other day as a daily moisturizer too and it's keeping the dryness away. I'm sure the Hair Growth Oil is helping with that too! Also, they all smell AMAZING!! Highly recommend for type 4C Low Porosity hair.
I was skeptical after using many different brands that boast about hydration. Those products would never absorb and would flake. This product, Ethnic Gals, did not disappoint. It’s not sticky, doesn’t just sit on my hair and it’s not flaky. I love this and will be buying again.
I knew that it was going to be a good wash day when I felt the slip of the Ethnic Gals conditioner on my thick thirsty hair. My hair was well moisturized and soft after rinsing.
I truly love these products and especially because they are specific for low porosity hair. The heating cap has been a game changer for me being able to retain moisture for my hair. I am extremely impressed and I know that when I go see my hairdresser she’s going to love the results that I’m getting from these products.
I have been using these two product for about a month and I honestly don’t think I can go back to anything else.
Just within the first week of applications, and I have noticed a big difference in my roots using the Miracle Oil. My overall curl pattern has been much more defined with the Low Porosity Leave-in.
Next on the bucket list is to try out the shampoo. I don’t think they can fail me with how GOOD!!! these products are.
I am in awe and shock with the leave-in and the oil. I’m not sure why my hair didn’t seem to like the shampoo and mask. The smell of the leave-in and oil is delightful. They are my favorite of the 4 products I purchased!
I used the low porosity line for 5 wash days before leaving a review. I have very thick tight coils. With The added complication of having eczema, I am very particular about what I use on my hair and my scalp. After using this five times I didn’t have itchy scalp and my hair was very moisturized and didn’t compromise my definition. I find that it pairs well with Uncle Funky’s and Innersenses gels. I had a significant amount of flaking when using Camille Rose curl maker so I wouldn’t suggest that pairing. My hair responds very well to botanical based products so with this having a lot of natural oils, I was very pleased with the results.
This was my first time purchasing the super hydrating shampoo. I would always order the leave-in conditioner, but I love how the shampoo and hair mask made my hair feel super soft & hydrating. I will be purchasing this set again in the future.
Porosity matters, and most products on the market don’t take it into consideration. This line of products has helped my 14 year old learn to love her natural hair. Her curls have definition, they look healthy, feel soft instead of like straw, and she wears it down which never used to happen. She’ll still get braids sometimes but she’s more willing now to go with long breaks between braiding because she has a new love for her hair. This deep conditioner, shampoo, and the leave in have honestly changed this kids life. Thank you for being available to us. ❤️

Lastly there me… 3c/4a(only on my edges), low porosity, fine strands, medium density. Listen after 3 years and 2 babies back to back and a horrible experience with heat damage while pregnant 2021, this was a long journey to get these curls back here. But after having kids my crown has changed so much. She’s not so care free and low maintenance. I struggle with moisture retention something terrible and tangling. For starters the shampoo is 10/10 it’s extremely moisturizing yet my scalp felt clean(not stripped) after. The hair mask melted into my hair LIKE BUTTER before I even applied heat. After sitting under my hooded dryer, my hair practically unraveled itself to be rinsed out it was so soft, and TANGLE FREE without having to use my shampoo comb. Lastly I skeptical of leave ins… haven’t found one yet that does a thing for my hair (liquid nor cream) until now. I am 3 days post wash day. I twist and air dry as well and don’t need to re-moisturize, still no tangle and easily manageable, barely any frizz, my curls and waves are still defined, and to top it off I didn’t even get to seal it like usual so just image if I did. I am truly amazed by these products after just ONE use. And have been raving to all of my family members like “you better get you one of these”… because when the girlies really tap into this brand it’s going to be so hard to get our hands on these. Please please please don’t ever change these formulas. These products are PERFECT! and coconut free( which is mandatory for me). I’m hooked and def ready stock pile. I love it here

So this is my baby hair 2 days AFTER wash day (we air dry in plats) my baby has 4a/4b hair and I struggle with product penetration and moisture retention. Tried this on my one year old(I posted her too) that has 3b/3c hair just to see if I could finally use just ONE brand for them both. AND ETHNIC GALS came through for the win. As a type 3 girlie, I had no idea what to do with my own baby hair and took a shot in the dark on this one. And I have no regrets! Her hair is soft, stretched, moisturized, and strengthened(ironically) this girl usually SHEDS but not this wash day. Just like that were a loyal family with this brand *shout out CURLY CHEMISTRY* she’s truly the goat for not gatekeeping these gems. Btw I’ve used the whole system on them both and LOVE ALL 3 items. The leave in especially loves my type 3 baby, and the hair mask for my type 4.
listen I absolutely NEVER rate products good or bad… but IVE LITERALLY STRUCK GOLD! My daughter is only one but she’s always had a lot of hair. The issue is she has my hair… long, fine, medium density and finding products that moisturize but don’t weight down has been non existent until now. They smell AMAZING, the moisture lasts, AND allows her curls to even elongate just a tad. IM SOLD and have already purchased 2 more orders since trust that one use. Wish I could attach more picks I have one with her hair damp as well. ETHNIC GALS is truly being slept on for some of these bigger names that products don’t penetrate or lasts. I have low porosity, fine type 4a hair. Easily breaks off. i use this on dry or damp hair and my hair feels soft and moisturized. It does not leave the hair crunchy. My hair hates protein, aloe vera, and does not like too much glycerin, and only likes light oils like grapeseed and babassu. so i decided to try this product. It has been almost 2 months f using this product and the 2 consistent factors are softness and moisture. Too early to tell if it helped my breakage issue. FYI, i feel a fresh cool sensation on skin when applying it.

I've had many different hair bonnets, so I wasn't expecting anything special. But this bonnet is just that... special. It's soft and stays on my head the entire night. And most importantly, my hair has lasted for 2 days, no joke. I haven't even needed to spray my hair in the morning. Awesome!
I’ve been struggling with dry hair, split ends and breakage for a while now and this shampoo and deep conditioner have been a godsend! With my low-porosity hair, it typically takes hours to get through a wash day but with this shampoo/conditioner combo, I have shaved off at least 30 min of time previously spent just trying to get my hair wet enough to soak in my usual products. I’m still getting the hang of my new wash day flow but this has definitely been an upgrade to the process. I will be buying again and would definitely give it a try if your hair is low porosity and/or if you struggle with retaining moisture in your curls.
It’s softness in a bottle. My hair loves it and my sons hair. The ingredients are top notch and it’s worked wonders on my sons low porosity 4c hair. We were able to set angle without tears.

When my son asked me to detangle his hair, I didn't panic. Instead, I pulled out my weapons... Super Hydrating Low Porosity Shampoo, Intense Deep Conditioner 280ML, and Leave-in Conditioner Low Porosity Deep Moisture. After shampooing, applying the deep conditioner with 25 minutes under the Ethnic Gals Heat Cap, then applying the deep conditioner, I was able to easily comb through his hair. My twisting needs some help, but his hair is now nice and manageable.

I first heard about this brand from the YouTuber CurlyChemistry. After hearing her praising this product in multiple videos I decided to try it out. When I first got it I was a little hesitant because I thought that the size would not be enough for my thick 4c hair especially since buying natural hair products for your specific hair needs is expensive. But I was completely wrong, a little goes a long way
When I applied it it was so SMOOTH, melted into my hair and it INSTANTLY started to detangle my hair as I applied it. After I put a cap and sat under the dryer for 30 mins, my hair ABSORBED the product completely and left my hair super moisturized. After I rinsed it out for the first time in my life my hair was not difficult to manage. My hair was actually EASY!!! For years I’ve hated how difficult and rough my hair is whenever I do it making me dread wash days or anything to do with my hair. But after using this product my hair was SOFT, MOISTURIZED, and EASY. Detangling and styling my hair was so easy I was shocked. I highly recommend this product to my low porosity girls, especially anyone with Type 4 hair.
